Wifi password - hilalvx - 02-24-2017 What's your experience of using SE to get a wifi password ? RE: Wifi password - mothered - 02-25-2017 When I needed access to someone's network, I didn't SE Wi-Fi passwords, I cracked them. Why not do the same? RE: Wifi password - Synthx - 02-25-2017 I got my teacher wifi at school, here's how I did it. I am well known around my classes for being really good with computers. So, my 10th-grade teacher from last year had me as her T.A. teachers assistant, and one day all of a sudden on their desktop mac, youtube just stopped working. So, I was like, well, maybe it's the student wifi not letting you. I then went into keychain access on her laptop, and had her enter in her password, she did it, and I copied the password to a txt file on my flash drive, I then entered the password on the desktop..... All to say, I just saved the txt file on my flash drive! I never actually got to use the password, mainly because the flash drive I saved it on fuckin took a shit on me........... No doubt you did well here, good work. The only Issue In this scenario, Is that you need a good rapport with your victim and as a result, It's not an anonymous methodology. Hypothetically speaking, any subsequent attacks on the Wi-Fi Itself, may well link back to you. Yeah, makes sense, as my computer name would have been the only student one on there! LOL RE: Wifi password - ApatheticEuphoria - 02-26-2017 Another technique could be that if you know the targets phone number, you can call claiming to be the ISP, protecting them from some potential threat or something. Evil twin attacks may also be considered social engineering, as they usually require the victim to manually enter the WPA key on a fake page. LOL Nonetheless and all In all, your SE worked and achieved It's objective, which In your case Is exactly what your Intentions were. RE: Wifi password - Blink - 02-26-2017 An interesting attack is https://github.com/wifiphisher/wifiphisher and https://github.com/deltaxflux/fluxion They basically deauth devices from the network, make a honeypot network and serve up a page saying that there is a router update and ask for the passwrd to complete the update or something similar. I like attacks like these. RE: Wifi password - BluHue - 03-04-2017 Or, you could just kick through the door & demand the wifi password. Always works for me |
