I have an account, I use it for porn sites.
As for what I think about it: It's an easy encryption solution for consumers, if you realy want to be secure you shoudn't store your encryption keys somewere in the cloud how protonmail does, you should store them localy.
In the case of proton mail you do not own the encryption key, protonmail does. I would newer trust my PGP keys to some service online.
In my opinion we should use GNUPG and as long as you use PGP you can use whatever email provider you want.

I use protonmail, and I think its great! I did have a little slip up where, I deleted my password from my chrome password save thing, and I tried every password I could think I have ever used.... Thus had to reset my password :/

I use Mail2Tor for private use. I use Lelantos for business. I use temporary emails for websites like these. Then, I use Tutanota for family.

Well, I now am also using tutanota, LOL, I now have three emails for my online alias! I waste my time, lmfao, I am about to go onto tor and get an email with Lelantos! I must be lonely.

I have various email accounts on Protonmail. Not all though. I use Sigaint for mail, things that only require a one-time setup, I use temporary emails.
I heard Lavabit is back as well. Might be interesting to check that out. Too bad you have to pay for it though.

I think Sigaint got shut down. I had premium accounts with that service, as well. I hope their servers didn't get seized by some law enforcement agency.

Could be, haven't used sigaint for a while. Honestly I think if they got shutdown their servers got seized, I think they were using off-shore servers though so it can't be seized.
