Classic Metal thread - Inori - 01-26-2017
Does anyone else listen to any of the proto-metal bands that really shaped the genre? In terms of the really early stuff, I'm a huge fan of Quiet Riot, Black Sabbath, and Dio. For later bands, I have a special place for Iron Maiden, Queensryche, and Accept.
Rainbow in the Dark is easily my favorite Dio song.

I'd love to contribute to this thread, but I don't listen to metal at all.
Would you recommend any songs that would lean my sense of taste towards it?
