I think everyone has that ![]() Dumb mistakes take the most time to find... RE: Stuck - Vi-Sion - 01-18-2017 Most of the times when i discover the mistake i did i wish i was dead,i wasted 3 hours of my life on a mistake that shouldn't happen. RE: Stuck - Mr.Kurd - 01-18-2017 I was working on 3d car game with unity, After a while of coding I played the game, There was an error with the camera, I searched a lot, You know the problem was instead '+' I wrote '-' .
RE: Stuck - Vi-Sion - 01-18-2017 Wish i could see your face when you discovered what was the problem
RE: Stuck - insidious - 01-18-2017 Do that all the time, usually it's a miswritten loop or off-by-one but man if it's a latenight i can't figure it out for the life of me for hours but then i'll get up in the morning and figure it out in 2 minutes that's when i smack my head against the desk RE: Stuck - zenith - 01-18-2017 I was editing a site on mybb, changed like one thing on the template. And the entire site became fucked. Reason? I added a ;. It took so long to find. RE: Stuck - Vi-Sion - 01-18-2017 Exactly same thing happens with me, like if while sleeping my head was actually thinking about it. I have this so often, not only when coding but when playing games as well. When I'm stuck and I resume the next day or the day after, I usually fix it within like 5 minutes. I think if you code too long on the same project the brain gets bored and focus gets lost. @OP I was stuck 2 days ago on a piece of code, it was only 50 lines big and I couldn't find the mistake. I tried for about 4 hours. I rage quitted and deleted the project. I started again from scratch and it worked perfectly. That just belongs to coding and I like it. RE: Stuck - Satan - 01-19-2017 I do that all the time. I've even had it where I forgot I added additional lines of CSS to a live file and couldn't figure out why the website was displayed wrong after I was done testing it. |
