Method to spread RATs - phe0nix404 - 01-09-2017
Can someone share some of their own used methods of spreading RATs with success ratio? I know torrenting is a way but want to know more about this? how to get more victims?

I thought @Blue had an orginial spreading method.
There are many ways to spread. You just need some creativity.
For example, you can bind it to a PDF and send it to a lot of emails with a convincing message to open the PDF.
You can also create something that will auto-spread your RAT and drop USB sticks near large companies.
You can go to an internet Café and make sure that every user that logs in receives the virus when they login. There are plenty of options, but the most important thing is share, share, share. You need to have a lot of links that lead to your file. Not only pack your file as an .exe but bind it with an .APK too. Stuff like that.
Remember, ratting is illegal and can cause you jail time if you live in the wrong country.

A good start would be to use Youtube to spread. Get a good video of a new cracked app or game cheat, upload your stub, and put download link in your video description.
I have also heard of people having amazing results using torrents. Download a popular program, bind your rat to it, make it a torrent, then upload to as many torrent sites as possible.
Also, make sure your stub has been crypted and is undetectable.

So why dont you give him some better advice instead of quoting my post that offered something that he can actually get some installs from?
I mean he can always get ahold of the owners of exploit kits and rent them for a week or month, possibly even find a botshop and pay for some loads or installs.
But I figured he wanted something a bit easier.

You could upload some cracker or program on leak-forums, and bind your stub to it ( just try not to make it a lame repost please). I don't understand why people want multiple botnets... if I want to keylog/RAT someone it's for a specific reason.

I did this with my shit but I eventually got called out by some wannabe cyber security kid who traced most of the shit, but I got up to like 93 bots which was nice.
