FBI got rekt - again - Bish0pQ - 01-05-2017

Hello sinister.li,

Apperently the FBI got hacked again, already a few days ago, when they received a warning and a chance to fix the issue.
They were lazy and did not fix the issue. The database is for sale on the deepweb somewhere.

The hack was claimed by CyberZeist (twitter username). He used a 0day exploit for Plone CMS (an open source CMS). Apperently there are a shit ton of sites that have the same exploit.
He also released 150 accounts on Pastebin.

They just keep getting hacked lol, I wander when they'll up their security. What are you thoughts about this?
I was just surprised that they got a warning and didn't do shit about it.

It's kinda funny how ignorant the FBI seems. Especially since they are... the FBI.

If they were given a warning then they should have listened. It's their fault.

Ignorance Is everywhere around the net, this doesn't surprise me one bit.

One site that I compromised (and posted here), actually went offline shortly after with a message of "website under maintenance". After 2 days, It was back online and I used the very same attack vector and got In. The point Is, that site and the FBI In this case, are Ignorant to the hack Itself, the compromised data or a combination of both.

What I've found Is once one site has been Identified as being vulnerable, most other sites under the same host and/or the website's developer, are also at risk.

Speaking for myself alone, It's Immaterial "who" compromised the FBI's database. I couldn't care less.

My comments are based on the FBI's poor security (and lack of), that allowed the vulnerability to be Identified, and the exploitation thereafter.

GG FBI. They can't find a jihadist and they can't fix a vulnerability, but somehow know how to use software to spy on every person in the US of A.
