Jack Threads question - Verkii - 12-12-2016 If you don't know already, Jack Threads has a "Tryouts" service where they will send you the clothing item for a while before you actually have to pay. I have a question about this service. The company will charge you for the clothing if you don't return them or pay within a week or so. If I make a brand new Paypal account with the only real info being my address, and use an empty prepaid to use the tryouts, will it work without me getting in any trouble? On Paypal it shows pending transactions for the items. (ex. tryout a $30 item, it shows a pending $30 on the Paypal account.) Will the company contact anyone to get their shit, or will my Paypal account just in the negative? RE: Jack Threads question - m0dem - 12-12-2016 They probably already thought of this. But I could be wrong. RE: Jack Threads question - pvnk - 12-12-2016 Your PayPal account will most likely be in the negative. It is best to use VCCs for these type of exploits. At the point of negative balance, it makes sense, but OP will already have the goods without payment. RE: Jack Threads question - Verkii - 12-20-2016 bump, would like more feedback on this. thanks for the replies. RE: Jack Threads question - Bish0pQ - 12-20-2016 As @pvnk said, you can better use a VCC. There has been a site like this too where I live (Zalando), which first sended the goods before you had to pay. They soon realised that the service got abused the shit out of, so now you have to pay and if you don't like it, you can send the item back and you'll get a refund (unless you want the item in a different color/size). |
