I don't see the point in living when all we're gonna contribute to this world is by paying taxes for the rest of our pathetic lifes.

TL;DR Life is absurd, life has no meaning until you give it meaning through your own means.
If you choose to find meaning in paying taxes go for it, that might not be the most fulfilling life, though.

So why Is paying taxes the end of the world for you?
Life Is based on how you create It and how you wish to live by It. You're putting a price on life, when In fact you should be looking at It from a beneficial perspective. We all pay taxes, that's a given and Is Inevitable once It's mandatory to do so, but It doesn't put a halt on what we enjoy doing.

Whelp, I think everyone here has said it pretty well. I'd just like to add my opinion here as well.
Look around you. Really fucking look. Soak in every single detail in the room as if you were on some kind of drug. Now shut your eyes and listen to everything, even the silence. Go outside on a cold, clear, winter night and look at all the stars. Think for a moment about the existence of everything. Do you have any sort of clue how lucky this universe is. Mankind seems to forget how impossibly difficult and rare such a universe's existence is. Do you have any clue just how much goes into just the existence of everything let alone sentient life? Color? Sound? Sensation? Movement? Dimensions? Logic? Now get more specific. You live on a thriving planet. There are infinite subjects you can delve into existing in both physical terms and nonphysical terms. Emotion, thought, dreams, creativity, life!
If you can't see how important and valuable life is then you need to sit down and get primitive. Listen. Watch. Smell. Taste. Live you idiot. Live.
