Darkest Dungeon - Oni - 12-01-2016

I saw reviews for this game and had to get it. Got it on G2A yesterday (for only $10, too). I've been playing it the past day. So far I've really enjoyed it.
Game has awesome aesthetics, surprising difficulty, and traditional RPG/turn-based strategy elements. Characters die permanently, the artwork is grim, and gameplay is unique.

Has anyone else heard of or picked up this gem?

For some reason it makes me think about the iphone app "Hellgore". It's not really the same thing, but it looks like it. Game looks okay though and price is right.

They look similar, in the fact they are sidescrollers. However, this game is in a league of its own. It has a lot more similarities to RPGs/roguelikes/strategies, in my opinion.

I recommend watching some gameplay. I might give out a copy or two of the game later on, since it is so cheap.

It was on the 4th page of Steam, despite all the awards. Biggrin

I would play this, although most of my money is going towards another car.

You're too young to drive, silly.
