I'm interested in learning PHP, have been wanting to for quite a while now and I wanted ask you guys if you know of any decent resources to learn? From what I've read there's a lot of outdated information when it comes to PHP so I want to learn it the correct way, the updated way.

PHP 5 is old. I prefer PHP 7.

Learn from official Documents. It's best, updated and easy..

You can get a descent base on https://www.codecademy.com or just learn from YouTube.
You can also sift through the documentation but that will take a long time to understand.

May I ask, why are you learning PHP?
Other than learning of how $shit it is and how it is used to exploit different things, there are much better tools nowadays.
