Competition Rules and scoreboard - Vi-Sion - 11-25-2016

I finally decided to give it a try, i'm not sure how this will go, but i'm hoping it will be good.
Competition will have many challenges to solve,challenges aren't actually made by me,some of them will be project Euler challenges and others from somewhere else.
Yes you're right you can find solutions online to those challenges, but if you do so you won't be practicing and the whole purpose of this challenge is to practice and make the coding section of the forum alive.

Rules:
1.You can't solve a challenge in a language that was already used by someone else .
2. Whoever solve a challenge will be officially participant of this competition.
3.Solving challenges will give you points depending on the challenge difficulty.
4.Whoever gets to 5000 points first will win the competition.
5.The prize of this competition will be 15$.

Well one more thing i almost forgot about,your code should be executable if i paste it in an IDE.

Good luck everyone hope you'll have fun and someone would be learning some new stuff from this competition..

@bitm0de 400pts
@Pikami 400pts
@GOD 100pts
@Inori 50pts
@lux 50pts

Due to low participation in this competition,i've decided the following this competition has come to an end, and i'll be sending 10$ to @bitm0de and another 10$ to @Pikami of course if you both accept.

I'll gladly accept it.
It's just sad that there weren't many people who participated...

Maybe it was me who couldn't manage such a competition and it might have been boring anyway i am glad you've accepted if it's ok with @bitm0de as-well i'll be sending the money soon.

RE: Competition Rules and scoreboard - bitm0de - 12-08-2016

It's not that it's boring that you haven't gotten much traction with the competition. It seems most programming communities are very inactive as of late.

RE: Competition Rules and scoreboard - Vi-Sion - 12-08-2016

Yeah you're probably right.So you accept the 10$ ? I need you both to accept in order to send it soon.

I would also include that the timing is a little bit inconvenient. For many university students it's either Finals week or very very close to finals week, so we are usually engrossed in schoolwork and don't have much time to pay attention to competitions on a forum. Considering the age group of most people on this forum/other forums, this may have been an important factor.

High School students, too, are receiving alot of work around this time of year (I think, haven't been in highschool for a while)

I would have surely participated if this took place in one week, for example, but did not, because I almost died b/c calculus Tongue

In any case, I liked to see that there even was a competition and that people participated, it's certainly better than nothing at all!

@insidious well i've tried to make the coding section alive can't say it totally work but at least few people might have enjoyed it !!
You might be right about the timing .
