Yeah I dunno at what point it would be classed as depression tbh.

I'm diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder. So, yeah. I do suffer from a severe case of depression. It causes me to lose emotion at times, as I went for a long period being completely apathetic and having no care in the world about death and welcomed it with open arms. Depression is a horrible thing.

If you get depressed a lot, it could be due to weather or triggers. Try to find what's going on around you when you start feeling depressed. Take notes, like weather, temperature, how your peers are acting, anything that may have impacted you even slightly. It'll help you be able to analyze yourself and your depression.

Do you have a feeling, or lack of feeling, regarding yourself and others?
Do you being to wonder how things would feel with you gone?
Do you feel that you cause trouble for everything and everyone?
If you were once outgoing, are you now reclusive?

I'll copy and paste one of my other forum posts about depression and self-harm into another thread if other forum members have questions.

I do not suffer from depression.

But, it seems like a majority of forum(ers) do.
I guess foruming takes their mind off anything and let them hangs out as a virtual lounge.

Honestly, I hope you all get better.
Not everything in life is terrible.
Everyone has happy moments. :>

Everyone has happy moments, but it's hard to see the proverbial light when the darkness of depression covers your eyes.

Thanks for this and most of the time I know what triggers it. After that I begin questioning what am I actually doing in this world and why am I here when I do nothing of meaningful value. And one I get myself into my depressed state I then realise or focus on everything bad about my life and fail to see any positive outcome or route.

I don't. I do get down sometimes but like Jebus said, it's life. I can also turn from happy to down within minutes.

RE: Depression? - BlueJay_mybb_import25666 - 09-13-2016

I get depressed for one too many reasons, but I'm in a lucky position where I have a supportive family to help me through this current shit-storm. If you have someone who's your proverbial "rock" I recommend you ask them to help you get back into your normal emotional way in a kind, caring, and supportive way. If you cannot find that someone, there is always simple videos on YouTube to help you relax your body and mind and focus on the positives more than the negatives while you listen. I hope this helps, and I wont go into detail about why I get depressed as it would draw unneeded attention.
