Writers/News Userbar - PapaJoy - 07-18-2016
The reason I made a separate thread for this userbar and not reply to the request itself was to also inform you guys what I am up to. Recently I took a break from graphics and worked on other projects. I am beginning to do more VFX and motion graphics and improving my digital painting skills. It is going to be a fun journey and I want to go along the pace that I feel is right for me.
Okay so about the actual Userbar. It is not 100% complete though, I am not sure what I can further add.
I took an image of a book, sliced it in half and added a pen to it along with adding some more shadow for more realism. After that it was mostly adjusting color and adding text to the book to make it look as if it was written in.
I thought a more realism approach might be something new for this forum and something different. It still has some more adjusting before its done.
If you have suggestions feel free to ask.

Thank you both! I still need to as some more element to make it better. I am painting the inside of my house so I don't have much time right now.

If that is the case, then you failed to optimize it for different resolutions. (Something that is very important when you are making elements for web design.)

How could I export to optimize for different resolutions? I already have saved for web.
