Photo effects - Zaiken - 05-18-2016

So I just started learning photoshop a couple of days ago and it's going quite well (I hope)
Anyway I want to create a inwards effect such as a wall being pushed in and I can't quite work out how to do it and can't seem to find any youtube videos on it.
If you have any suggestions or ideas please send them my way.
Much appreciated.

I guess a drop shadow may work but @12 and @10 would be able to advise you best.

Can you give us a example? As I have no idea what you are trying to tell us with a "wall".

and i was looking for a inner 3D effect on a wall/canvas being smashed/pushed inwards
