That is because this one is a very lame style, a old one. (Somewhat still used.) Though it was a style that appealed to me a few years ago, and still does for its crisp corners and edges. That being said, it is highly subjective.

Pokémon confirmed. Anyway, looks overdone in the text covers too many details in the background of the userbar which makes it blend oddly.
