According to the report, the potential buyers are interested in the user data that Twitter generates, as well as its place as a media company. Twitter's board of directors is said to be interested in a deal.

None of the companies involved has released any official statements regarding the matter; however, Vala Afshar, Chief Digital Evangelist for Salesforce, did tweet about it.

I'd rather Google than Verizon. Lets just hope they don't fuck it up for us.

Uhhh.. as if it's not fucked up already? You can get banned for saying anything that holds a position contrary to the liberal agenda, making it an echo chamber for retarded SJWs, feminists, and other cancers of the sort. If Google bought it then imagine what I've just mentioned and multiply it by 10, that's what it will be like. Not only that, but Google will turn it into a datamining privacy-invading machine like every other one of the things it has bought.

Also, you should probably stop using Twitter if you know what's good for your privacy;

If Twitter does get taken over by either company, It'll be Interesting to see If any changes (and what) are made to their current terms.

Whether It's for better or worse, does somewhat depend on If and how Twitter will be restructured.
