Active tutorials - selhar - 09-18-2016

There are some courses/guides online that teach you through a project. For example, "Learn C the hard way" makes you code a program for each C concept, that way you understand the language in an active way. If anyone has more tutorials like this, please do post them here. I'm particularly looking for something similar to "Build your own lisp" for C++.
