PC Rebuild/Upgrade! - Skullmeat - 09-16-2016

So I finally got around to rebuilding my aging rig. My specs were:

16GB DDR3 1866Mhz

AMD FX-8350 OC 4.5Ghz

(x2) EVGA Nvidia GTX 660 Superclocked

2TB WD Black

Thermaltake SMART M850w

Themertake Overseer RXI

My current specs are:
Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0
32GB Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR3 1866Mhz
AMD FX-8350 OC 4.5Ghz
EVGA Nvidia GTX 1080 Superclocked
2TB WD Black
Thermaltake SMART M850w
Coolermaster Storm Trooper Full ATX Case

At some point I plan on getting an SSD, but aside from that this machine is stupid fast. I'm very happy.

I'm surprised to see no SSD in your system. The difference between an SSD and a WD black in terms of performance is noticeably big.

Are you hyped for zen yet? My AMD-based battleship is aging as well, and I am planning on getting a kickass zen chip once they come out.

SSDs are just too expensive for too little space. I do want an SSD, but not right now.

The GTX 1080 Is an animal of a card. Very good choice.

It'll be Interesting to see the benchmark results via 3DMark.
