Apple or Android? - BMW - 08-14-2016 Apple all the way for me. I always had Apple products all my life. RE: Apple or Android? - zorrophreak - 08-14-2016 I prefer the UI of Apple, but honestly I'm able to implement my own choice and see what is going on a lot easier when on Android. Not to mention the jailbreak scene on Apple has become a monstrosity. RE: Apple or Android? - sleaze - 08-14-2016 i like being able to do what i want on my phone, fuck apple RE: Apple or Android? - Ex094 - 08-14-2016 (08-14-2016, 06:46 PM)sleaze Wrote: i like being able to do what i want on my phone, fuck appleI would like to second what sleaze said here, spot on RE: Apple or Android? - BMW - 08-14-2016 Nice responses you all. RE: Apple or Android? - Aiba - 08-14-2016 Android: For those that like to tinker with their device to squeeze out every ounce of performance or to make it look like whatever they want. NOT RECOMMENDED if you dont want to mess with your device, many stock android phones slow down after 6 months. Apple: For those that just want a nice looking phone that's reliable. NOT RECCOMENDED if you like to change stuff around. --- I have owned both android and apple devices; including the flagslips (of their time) Samsung Galaxy S3-S6, various motorola droids and even the cheap $50 phones you find in 7-11. RE: Apple or Android? - Nyx - 08-14-2016 Planning on using my next upgrade to grab an Android phone, never had one and I'd love to try it. Have an iPhone 6 currently. I have it jailbroken and I'm happy with the level of customization that I have as of now. Agreeing on this. Do you also like having outdated operating systems and having anybody with 10 minutes of free time to be able to do whatever they want on your phone? Don't get me wrong, Android is a nifty little OS, and makes a great pairing with a burn phone or some on the go dev work, but it isn't nearly secure enough for a daily. That's a lot like choosing a '95 honda civic over an '00 bmw m5. Sure, the civic will let you put in a cool deck and you don't care how its painted because theres tons of prepainted parts to change out, but a honda civic can be stolen in under 30 seconds with no tools, and I still havent been able to hotwire my M5. |
