Samsung Galaxy S8 Edge - Aeolian - 07-31-2016

Quote:"The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is for our money the very best phone you can buy right now, coupling the sheer power of the Samsung Galaxy S7 with a bigger battery, a more eye-catching border display features that are truly useful and layout.
However there’s no such thing as a perfect telephone, so there are developments which we’d like to find and will get with the Samsung Galaxy S8 Edge.
With that in mind we’ve created a wish list for Samsung’s next curvy main, of when we might see it, along with predictions"

Release date:
MWC 2017 is set to take place between February 27 and March 2, so we’ve likely got a very long time to wait.

What they expect to produce

Quote:As amazing as the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is it is also incredibly pricey, retailing for around £640 (US$750, AU$1,249). That makes it one of the very expensive telephones in the world, outside the extravagance of the Vertu range.
It is clear that it costs so much. After all it’s big, strong, feature packed and has a premium layout. But given that you could get a reasonably powerful PC or a high end TV for the same money it can seem a bit much. It is always going to be a premium range, but hopefully for the Galaxy S8 Edge Samsung can rein in the price only a little.

Samsung has greatly enhanced its fingerprint scanners since the Galaxy S5, however they are still not perfect. With the Galaxy S7 Edge it’s common for the scanner to fail in your first attempt and it’s also restricted in what it can do.
Yes, you may use your phone to be secured by it, but it’d be fine if the Samsung Galaxy S8 let you lock individual programs too.

Samsung introduced its Game Launcher with all the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge.
But it needs a little polishing. So while you are able to use it to prevent accidental presses of the back button, you could wind up accidentally pressing the Game Tools button just as frequently.
It is also missing some features. For example, while you are able to record footage you can’t live stream it, which is a huge matter in the world of eSports. So it is not bad, but it might not be worse.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge has a decent 32GB of built in storage. But while that is a decent sum it can quickly be filled up if you stick your music collection or a handful of big matches on the telephone.
There is always a microSD card slot for more breathing room, but that demands both relying on the usually slower speeds offered by them and buying a card. So the Samsung Galaxy S8 Edge will have beefier built in storage for those who need it.

The Galaxy S7 Edge really has fairly good battery life and it’s a clear upgrade on the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, but it is still far from the best around. You’re likely to make use of it greatly, so the more it can last the better, in the event that you’re purchasing a phone like this.
With that in mind we hope the Samsung Galaxy S8 Edge will offer a real two days of life at an absolute minimum. If it can stretch even further than that then all the better.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge has hi res audio support, along with the capacity to upscale lower res tune the sounds predicated on your own hearing and tracks. But the one bit of the audio puzzle its missing are superb built in speakers.
As it can pump out a decent amount of sound which isn’t to say they’re poor. But the single speaker grille on the base of the phone can not fit the likes of the HTC One M9 for quality and the positioning means it’s also too easily obscured when holding the telephone.
So hopefully the Samsung Galaxy S8 Edge will have more speakers with more power and also a better, ideally front-fire standing.

Among the finest attributes of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is its water resistance. It gives you peace of mind you could use it in the rain or the bathroom and that if a drink gets spilled on it the phone will still work later.
That’s all great, but with the Samsung Galaxy S8 Edge we’d like it to go a step farther and offer authentic waterproofing. The S7 Edge has a fantastic camera and having the ability to shoot it scuba diving under the sea to snap pictures would be excellent. It’s a feature that may not get used much, but one which would further set it apart from the crowd.

In all, alot of core features that s7 already has, although alot of hugely upgrade features, most likely getting my hands on this,

What are your thoughts on this?

I'm not too keen on the price, but you can't put a cost on those who're a heavy cell phone user and rely on performance and stability.

Reading the Improvements Is one thing, experiencing It first-hand Is another. It'll be Interesting to see how It performs compared to It's predecessor.

Exactly right, alot of people use their phones as a primary device for working purposes.

I used to rely on my mobile for everything, but I'm currently happy with the S6+ I currently have.

I have a lot of friends who own a Samsung Galaxy (current & previous models), and they're very happy with the device.

From what they tell me, Samsung Is a trusted and reliable cell phone vendor. I'm sure you'll be happy with the new model.

I can second what mothered said there, I've been a user of Samsung Core Prime for straight 2 year, not a slight glitch. I was really happy with the set, I've used HTC, Motorola and Lumia but I was not as happy with them as I am with Samsung.

The only thing that bugs me is that nearly all the Samsung set have similar looks Tongue

Android is more customizable, hence why I like it.

Having your phone the way "YOU" want it is perfect.
