Warcraft: The Beginning—a film that Chris described as an "overloaded Cinematic Universe Starter Kit "—has become the most successful videogame movie adaptation ever. Its $377.6 million haul beats Prince of Persia: Sands of Time's $335m and Tomb Raider's $275m.
Only $37.7m of Warcraft's total comes from North America. Anyone hoping for a sequel owes their thanks to the Chinese box office—Warcraft received the widest Chinese cinema release of any film ever, showing on 67.5% of screens pulling in about $45m on its first day.

I haven't seen it yet, but I'm totally hyped to see it.
All of my friends say it's good. Plus I haven't seen a movie in a while.

That's honestly insane. I've never played WoW or Warcraft (no, seriously) but the movie looks objectively amazing.

I've played WoW and Warcraft and as I said in the last WarCraft thread i'm pretty excited to see it for the nostalgic aspect
I don't think the actual movie is that good, though. Probably better compared to other 'Video Game Movies', though. Pretty cool that Blizzard is making alot of money off it.
Maybe it'll push them to finally create those vanilla servers....

Saw it. It was a pretty good movie, actually. Anyone that played WoW 10 years ago will likely appreciate it.

Movie was actually pretty good. Waiting on that sequel because King Varian and Thrall are being introduced.

It's more of the stigma and unappeal of the game that stopped me from trying it, don't know about you.
