Mother 3 - NES - zenith - 06-15-2016
Mother 3 is the 3rd game in the Mother series. Okay that was kind of obvious. The first game, Earthbound was a huge success in Japan but wasn't very big in the states. These games are what brought the characters Ness and Lucas. Mother 3 was released only in Japan, which outraged fans of the Earthbound series. Devoted fans actually took the game, and translated it into English for us English people.

I personally am playing it right now on a NES emulator on my phone. It is really fun right now. I recommend it

On the GBA, it looks like a more violent version of Pokemon.

I never got around to Mother 3, but I did grab one of the Gameboy Micros with it and I ran through the original on the Famicom a while ago - I completely forgot that it exists until I read this, so I'll have to maybe pick that up and play it a bit later.
*edit - Sorry, I have to make a little correction - I noticed the title, "Mother 3 - NES"... if I'm right that's a tad bit incorrect. The original Mother was Famicom only (japanese NES) so that's the closest it got to NES apart from repro carts nowadays, Mother 2 is Earthbound - yes there's Earthbound beginnings, but that's a simple retitle of the original for the western market in 2015 - and Mother 3 was GBA in 2006 hence having a Gameboy Micro made after it.

I'm currently in Chapter 5. It's really good, although a bit grindy.

I just downloaded every NES game plus some extra ROM hacks and to be honest I have never attempted to play a Mother game so I will play all 3

Actually since I'm on Fedora I'm having problems with EVERY emulator when it comes to using a controller as a keyboard.
Good thing I'm dual booting Windows 7 with it but it sucks because found out it's smartest to do it from Windows first.. Blah blah I shall not ramble no more.
