Macklemore + Drake = G-Eazy? - BreShiE - 06-12-2016

Now I've got to say this first of all. I am a fan of G-Eazy however I very rarely will put his music on myself (I'll like it if I hear it on TV/Radio). There is this one song which I will frequently listen to but I've noticed he sounds like a mixture of both Macklemore and Drake. See what you guys think.

Why do these famous people make songs about how hard it is to be famous? It doesn't apply to anyone that isn't famous.

I read the title, and I was like, "Naaaah that's not right".

Then I watched the video and I was like, "Oh damn, he's right". Almost sounds like them too. That's hilarious.

I cannot fuck with G-Easy no matter how hard I try. Everything about him is just boring/fake (IMO).

I like G-Eazy, but I wouldn't compare him to either artists. Unless you're just going by the fact he's white?

I like a couple songs, but a lot of the songs are superficial in nature. Not exactly surprising, given how quickly he became mainstream.

Spoiler:
The superficial nature I'm speaking of, could be why @BreShiE relates the artists.

He has a very pop sound (Ex. "Me Myself and I"), so it doesn't surprise me he was able to become mainstream rather quickly. Also he's white so that helped too lol.

Seconded.

After watching the video I have to admit he is a bit like Macklemore + Drake, but this song is more 'pop' than anything. This is pretty much the only G-Eazy song I know, and it's played at all the popular parties I've gone too, always blended in with all the other pop songs they'd put on. Never really stood out.
