Favourite Setting for a Show - Jiggly - 06-05-2016 There are a lot of genres of anime, and with that, comes a lot of settings for shows. These settings range from historical Japan to everyday town/cities to outer space. What's been your favourite setting? I am really interested in beautiful scenery so shows like SAO where they made some really incredible outdoor like scenes, I felt very drawn by. Not sure if it's may favourite ever as there have been so many that I liked. Some examples of what I like are below: ![]() ![]() Underwater city O.O
RE: Favourite setting for a show - BurritoBeans - 06-05-2016 I do like the big open outdoor scenes, when done by good artists they look absolutely beautiful. The one thing that I like a bit more (but it's starting to get a bit old - I've noticed a ton of people have done it since Blade Runner did it) are the huge science-fiction cities - I don't really know of any specific examples, I don't remember the names of too much stuff I watch, but with all the lights and stuff it just looks nice, especially in the night scenes. You know, I nearly included one of those. I like those too. But you're right, it's getting more and more common. RE: Favourite setting for a show - XltSystem - 06-06-2016 I like the scenes in no game no life, however i gotta say my favorite kind of settings are school like settings. I don't know why, but maybe its because i can relate to it more. The trippy colors and kinda crazy 'Alice in Wonderland-esque' setting really made it for me. Still waiting for a second season though.... ![]() ![]() RE: Favourite setting for a show - XltSystem - 06-06-2016 insidious15 Wrote:No Game No Life's setting was reallyyy awesome, and definitely my favorite. RE: Favourite setting for a show - Master - 06-06-2016 I really liked how Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara Kuru Sou Desu setting looks, it's alternative world called Little Garden. ![]()
