Hello,
What do you think of doxing?
Personally, I think it is totally NOT okay.
However, the guy who gets doxed is leaving his own information on the internet.
Let's say for example on Facebook he leaves his address there.
He is leaving his information there, anyone can see his address.
But on the other side it is wrong if you drop the dox everywhere so people can call the victim, send pizza to his house etc.
What do you think of doxing?

Doxing is something I wouldn't ever do... With exception to extreme circumstances. For example, if somebody had raped a friend, that sort of extreme. I'm not someone who even knows how to dox though and it's unlikely to happen.
I am sure many of us have fallen prey to it before and I do not condone it for the most part.

I think it depends on the circumstances. I'm not one to dox for fun but if there is a totally good enough reason to dox then I'm all for it. for instance

It's really just more annoying than actually harmful.
You aren't getting much done if you dox someone.

doxing is harmless unless youre going to swat them or something malicious like that

it could be extremely harmful if done by the right person. Most people find info on the person that anyone can find. Some can actually do some real digging and find juicy info

A lot of the time, people get them wrong or give already available info...
It's those few times when someone might actually have some skill and wants to hurt you that you have to be worried about.
