Depends what kind of kiss, I think. There's the one where you put them near their necks, or on their cheeks. Mostly on the hips / waist from, I think. Slide them down and grab the booty.

Don't think about it, its a natural reaction to put it anywhere. If one is making out, then from what I have experienced and can gather, its fairly normal to hold the arms around the partner or on the hips/around the hips. (Or on the ass if you are like, in a good, lasting relationship.)
