Has anyone competed in Tough Mudder before?
Tough Mudder is an event that is 20 km-long obstacle courses designed by British Special Forces to test your all around strength, stamina, mental grit, and camaraderie.

I have done something similar called a mud run. I'm assuming it's the same thing, except it was an 8k (5.3 miles I believe) full of obstacle courses designed by Marines on a nearby Navy base. It was so much fun.

Oh true that, yeah the way you're talking about it sounds like its pretty much identical.
did you guys train for it, or went straight for it?

Well, I'm not in the military, but I was already in pretty decent shape. I heard about it, then competed about a week later. I came in 4th for my age group
I think my age group was 18 - 24 or 17 - 24. I'm 19, so smack in the middle with a bunch of fresh Marines competing alongside us wasn't what I expected. I beat all of the civilians in my age group, though. 1st - 3rd place got a plaque.

I did something similar to that, yesterday morning.
Was pretty fun!
Got really muddy though.
Now my truck has mud am inside of it.

Looks like alot of fun, but how do you expect anyone to catch up when they start from that narrow of a line? If you start from the back then you're pretty much fucked..
