Recommend a PC - Migo - 11-20-2015
Getting rid of my laptop and moving up to a desktop. I'm not really tech savvy when it comes to hardware, so if you guys could help link me to a couple good builds that would be awesome. I'm not looking for a gaming computer. Fuck that.
I'm in the budget range of $2500 - $5000. I would really like a great computer that will last me a LONG time, have GREAT processing, and GREAT graphics. NO GAMING PC SUGGESTIONS.

Hey Raymond.
Just for everyday stuff. I'm planning on a YouTube channel so I'll be using a good video editor that's probably going to be large in size but that shouldn't bother anything even a laptop. Only thing I really use my laptop for now is to check out RF, have business conferences on Skype, and playing in the stock market.
I bought three 30" TV's to have more fun watching the stock charts.
I would like a PC that's powerful, and overexceeds what I really need it for. I don't want to have to buy another PC in 5 more years.
.. OH! I don't want any Apple products.

He wont need liquid and fan cooling he is only using it as he said day to day business and video editing. 32gb ram is not even logical 16 will be fine for what Migo needs. 8tb of hard drive space is a bit much for what migo will be using his pc for. If i was you migo i would look into the intel Xeon processors as they are better for rendering and editing. i7 are good but are more for gaming as it delivers more ghz. Just my general opinon

If I am buying a MacBook or any apple product, im going through apple lol
if your going to be doing a lot of video editing, I would suggest getting the most ram you can afford and the best processor you can get. 16gig ram at the least depending on the software your using to edit.
I know your not looking for a gaming pc but, gaming PC usually would be the best option for videos.

This builder just gives you water cooling default. Also if he every graduates to more hardcore video rendering and stuff the extra ram will be helpful but I see what you mean that he won't need 32 if he doesn't. I'm going to edit this a little more later(processor) and we shall see then
