obviously this is passed and happened like end of 2014 but the "lizard squad" DDoS ing xbox and psn
everyone complaining and how much fame they got from damn DDoS was annoying...
got tired of hearing everyone complain about them, I considered it a wake up call telling people to get off games and go do something
don't know why im ranting over this, it just came to mind and thought i'd point it out lol

To be honest, yes it was a "ddos" but they did a dam powerful botnet to take two huge companies offline. Regardless how old they were ect, that shouldn't of happened. (lol) Goes to show how easy there services sucked for the amount of money people pay. I am kind of glad it happened. It showed the companies how lame there services are and what they need to beef them up. Did they beef them up though? who knows.
Now as for people getting up and doing something in the downtime, Sure I get it, games are not life, but if your paying a monthly subscription you want that service. If you own a car, and go to the gas station and buy gas but the pump doesn't pay it out, are you just going to walk everywhere or are you going to complain? lol I didn't complain about not being able to use my ps4, I complained about the money I am spending for something I cant use.

"Get up and do something" people make livings off of their consoles of course they are going to be mad. Especially streamers / legitimate esports teams. I was mad as I wanted to play GTA V for the event but ye it don fookin matter

Lol that's not what I meant when I said that, making a living off Xbox and shit is good. I wouldn't mind doing it for a living, BUT it's unhealthy as fuck if you do it as much as some people do. If I could make a living off of games I would buy is also go to something

One of them was not 12 lol and they did not have just booters. One had a dam good botnet. Pretty sophisticated if you ask me. Not many people can put together the size of the attacks they did. In all honesty, they were pretty good at accomplishing what they wanted to do. It showed how much we are taken advantage of in terms of money spent to these huge comapnies who's networks suck. Where does our money go then?

Building a botnet really isn't too tough and requires next to no knowledge about computer science...
It was a pretty large attack though.
