They have/had a lot of cool little gadgets. For the most part just things to make your tech life more convinient. Unfortunately, they never really kept up with the more modern technology and are fading away as a result.
At least I won't have to suffer through those terrible commercials anymore.

I used to go to Radio Shack just out of convenience, they were rarely ever busy so I'm able to grab what I need and get out rather quickly. Then Best Buy started price matching and with their reward program I just started shopping with them exclusively. Radio Shack could have kept up but they didn't.

Where the canadien mounties walk the streets, our rat shacks are called "the Source" and the all sell bell moblity tellepohnes and sell you contracts, and have everything every other electronics store has for the same price.
