I think I've heard people that got to the basics within a week and managed to make something basic. I can see it taking quite a while.

It does take a while until you learn it fully, but if you practice and focus only on coding languages such as PHP or CSS you'll learn it quick. If you're stuck on something, you can always google.

Well, it depends on the complexity of the language, however the understanding of the basic concepts (loops, conditionals, functions, classes, etc) takes a couple of weeks to understand, then it's just practice.

Usually you have to spent 1,000 hours or more to be considered an advanced developer in your field, so keep that in mind.
