[SE] How to get patriot USB - bl4ck_c0d3 - 04-30-2016

Here is a method to get Patriot Memory things such as USB's, RAM etc.

1) Go this link: http://patriotmemory.com/support/techSupportp.jsp
2) Select the product you want.
3) Go the next page and press No.
4) Enter your details like name, address, email etc.
5) For "Devices or Systems" put USB [Product name]
6) For OS put Windows 7 or XP.
7) For your problem description, make something up. For example: (I put in the [lol, this is fake] to make sure nobody copy and pastes)
Code:
Hello,
I recently got this USB from Amazon [lol, this is a fake] and when I went to use it, it didn't work [LOL, FAKING]. I contacted Amazon and they told me to contact you.
I went through all the troubleshooting steps and the USB still doesn't work at all. No response [PENIS] at all.

Please help
Sorry, but I had to put the [] stuff to make sure nobody copy and pastes. Make up something like that.

8) You will get a email asking for more details and another email saying that a RMA case has been created.
9) You will later get a email saying that you need to ship your product back. Make sure they don't say they are giving you a box to ship it in. If they do, you can still do this, but I don't think it will work as well.
10) Wait a few days and email them and ask if they have received your product. They will say no.
11) Wait a few days and call them and ask what's happening. You will have to give the RMA number etc.
12) They will say that they have not received it and ask for a receipt. Say that you never got one or anything, but you will go down to the post office and try and get one.
13) Call back later giving a reference number etc. and say that they couldn't give a receipt.
14) They will tell you that they have received the product and they have shipped a new one.
15 ) Congrats!

I noticed exactly this too.

Personally, I cannot see why they'd be under the Impression that the product has been received.

Obviously they havent received the product. What the OP is suggesting is that they cbf dealing with this issue anymore so they just send you the replacement USB.
Seems plausible.

This Is an example of how a lot of companies accept and Implement training within their employees of "The customer Is always right".

They'd rather lose money to gain money by keeping their customers happy, thereby future purchases won't be lost. Companies of this nature are "very" easy to SE.

Actually, you are right, the companies are not training well all the employees, something that happened to me is that i told my mom that i can get a free pizza, and after that she told me that they are not stupid, that the stupid guy is me and stuff like that.... after 30 minutes i got a free pizza, and i told her "who is the stupid now?" hahaha

Yes, for the sake of a free pizza, they won't compromise their reputation and lose potential customers.

In terms of the lack of training for their employees, you're absolutely correct. A lot (If not most) businesses out there do not provide the training, awareness, skills, tools and know-how to their workers, to help Identify and prevent social engineering attacks. Most corporations have no Idea to begin with (pertaining to SE'ing), so they can't give what they don't have.

Training Is one thing, but formulating the "correct and most effective" form of training, Is another. Moreover, employees tend to slack off and forget, so an agenda needs to be put Into practice every so often to reiterate and review the techniques and strategies currently In place.
