RESTful/HTTP JSON API - Inori - 04-15-2016 I think a JSON api that users could POST or GET to that returns stuff like recent threads, truncated RSS, user statistics, and forum stats would be really cool and convenient as hell for the networking programmers around here. Plus, since API keys are a thing, that could be one of the new upgraded perks we've been looking for. RE: RESTful/HTTP JSON API - m0dem - 04-16-2016 I don't know how I didn't see this. But this would be awesome! 100% support from me. RE: RESTful/HTTP JSON API - Angel Beats - 04-16-2016 Would be convenient, wouldn't take long to code either. I support this idea. as well as optimising the damn server you fuck! RE: RESTful/HTTP JSON API - m0dem - 04-16-2016 I've never set up an API. What's the effort like? It really depends on the complexity of the system and how easy certain metrics are to access. With a PHP environment like SL, it shouldn't be too hard RE: RESTful/HTTP JSON API - insidious - 04-17-2016 That would allow lots of cool stuff Maybe a custom mobile Sinisterly app? That would be sweet |
