You know when it rains and all the worms come out and make the sidewalks gross? It started with what can only be described as a teeny tiny hand grenade clinking up onto the windowsill from far below, but within minutes, our entire marketing department looked like someone had taken a giant ice cream scoop out of it. We had to throw out everything in the kitchen because it had been contaminated by hundreds of tiny little sheep.
Chrono HQ was conquered by an army of worms that day in 1995, and later that year, we were able to sell our story to Team17, who’s been making hit games based off those real life events ever since.
