What brings people together? - pvnk - 03-19-2016

I was eating at a burger joint when I thought of this question. What brings people together?

The answer was food. I have also heard this somewhere from someone during some point of my life. I think it's accurate that it can easily be confirmed.

Maybe it's not true and I live in America where every other human being has wet dreams about greasy fries going up their various holes, but I am fairly confident that food brings people closer together.

Think about it.

The more you eat, the more mass you gain. In a fixed room, there is no where for the mass to go so eventually distance between two objects will be...closer.

I am literally and figuratively correct.

Uhh... I don't think I want greasy fries in my "various holes", but if you have a food fetish then good for you I guess?

And to follow how this is in "Serious Discussion" and with the food thing, (I don't see how with statements like the one I quoted but OK) family gatherings are usually around a table in my experience, and we usually get together and talk over dinner or something. So food "brings people together" in the sense of how people get together to eat at a gathering with each-other for what I see.

Speaking from experience, I see.

I can refer you to some adult shops for quality sex toys. Using food for your sexual pleasures shouldn't be something you take pride in.

Bullshit, you don't realize what we can do with baguettes in France Evil

The ambiguity of your thread, makes It all the more Interesting.

"Physically", you're correct. Mentally and emotionally, well that's a different story. Having consideration, respect, love, compassion, empathy, understanding, unconditional connections with true friends- they all make a huge/significant difference between the emotional attachment of two people.

You posts make me laugh even when it's fucked up to laugh...

I think you're right though. Even medieval times - People gathered around feasts. Good food is also associated with celebration and wealth. It's also a basic human need.
