Logic & Cowboy Bebop - Oni - 03-09-2016

Noticed that Logic had Steve Blum (voice actor for Spike Spiegel) in the skits for his album, The Incredible True Story. His song Young Jesus also has references to Spike Spiegel and (possibly) Vicious. The story in the album is also interstellar.

Quote:The album tells a story that takes place 100 years in the future; the Earth has become uninhabitable, and the remaining 5 million people live in a space station. Kai and Thomas, both from the future, are trying to travel to a planet called "Paradise", and their trip is accompanied by the playthrough of the album. - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Incredible_True_Story

Spoiler: Young Jesus

Quote:Okay the flow delicious
Bounty hunting like Sid Vicious
The young Spiegel, interstellar with my retrieval

I 100% LOVED TITS(The Incredible True Story)

Everything from the samples to the storyline, it's all great.

Logics first anime was cowboy bebop. That's dope.

It's bizarre to think that the worst thing he does/did is/was cigarettes.

The good old days. Watching movies on an the PSP. With cfw, you didn't even need UMDs, just SD cards.

Came across these interviews a bit late and instantly thought of this thread.
It's neat how much inspiration Logic had from anime and his relationship w/ Steve Blum.
