80's British Heavy Metal - Inori - 03-01-2016

As it's become apparent, my favorite genre is metal, by far, and as a cohort of that, British 80's.

I particularly like Motorhead, Iron Maiden (still kicking), and Judas Priest (Rob Halford still does tons of features), and I'm currently checking out some new (old) bands. What are some of SL's favorite bands/songs/albums/live sessions?

Edit: Tigers of Pan Tang also kick some serious ass

You like Black Sabbath/Ozzy, right?

Also, RIP Lemmy. Sad

I'm ok with Sabbath, not too keen on everyone calling them "the best metal band of all time", though.

And yeah, losing Lemmy was really hard for my stepdad and I. I donated to the campaign to get a statue of him in front of The Rainbow, though, so that felt pretty good.

They aren't the best, but they are one of them.

My Stepdad loves pretty much all of the ones mentioned in this thread. I'm not so well educated with 80s stuff or music in general but maybe I should borrow a few CDs?

Illegal, immoral, and unethical.

Spoiler:
Do it anyways.
