Can't really think of a great way to describe this beyond "Space Colour Vomit", so there you have it.
My code isn't in any pretty order or anything since it's not a major project, so if your only criticism is about it, don't bother.
Clearly is not meant for everyone, so don't take it as such. I may make a tame version(s) later on of it, if there's interest.

Nice release! I really like the way the drop down menus come up. Might try to make a stylish skin for SL. Think it could be cool if there was a forum category-ish thing where we could post stylish skins!

Could always post them in web design...?
I mean, its kinda design, of web sites, so I think that'd be the section for it, if @Oni can confirm.
Update: There are some things I have missed when skinning, I'm aware.

This is great. I'll have to tone down some of the color because my main monitor has a hard time with clashing lights, but I like it.

This is really cool Maddison, I just have one suggestion.
I would suggest making the pink thread text a little darker. It's sort of fades into the background, you know?
I love really everything about this. I'm a sucker for space-themes and bright colors though.
Also, where's the other logo? the <SIN> one?

I do too many projects using that font, but the links are:

You'd just look for the elements "#logo-img" and "#logo-img:hover" and swap out URLs
