Speed up Bitcoin Wallet Sync? - Pirate - 01-18-2016
6 years and 36 weeks remaining.
I uninstalled bitcoin core a few minutes ago using apt-get remove bitcoin-qt and I need to reinstall it again.
I put my old wallet.dat (couldn't lose the .2 btc in it .-.) and it says 6 years and 36 more weeks syncing.
Anyway to speed up the process?

I'd honestly suggest just moving to a web wallet.

Coinbase is pretty good. I don't know if they allow you to import, though.
