How to shave your pubic hairs - Tree - 02-11-2013

Introduction

You all are probably asking "Why the hell is this even necessary I know how to shave hurr", good question. I've seen countless threads on countless forums asking "How do I shave my pubes" or "Trim or shave?" things like that. To prevent threads like this spamming the forum I decided to make a guide showing you how to shave you pubic hair the correct way with little or no irritation or discomfort. So let's get started:

Shaving your pubic hairs

So you want to shave your pubic hairs, great. Here is some supplied that you should have beforehand:
  • Non Disposable Razor (Never use disposable razors for this)
  • Shaving Cream
  • Baby Powder or Lotion with aloe
  • Trimming Scissors

I highly recommend you have all of the supplied listed above or else you and your crotch are in potential danger. Now that you've gathered those supplied let's get down to business. Take your trimming scissors and trim your hair down to as short as you can get it, the shorter your hair is the less damage you will be doing to your razor.

After that's done, hop in the shower and turn on the warm water (<- important.) Go do your normal showing routine but stop right before you're about to get out. The reason you turned on the warm water is because the warm water will make shaving that much smoother.

Now get your shaving cream and lather it onto wherever you want to shave. Take your razor and shave the opposite direction of shaving against the grain, this will reduce irritation, then lather on some more shaving cream and start to shave horizontally.

Now it's time to shave against the grain, lather on some more shaving cream and start shaving slow and steady, it would be a shame to cut yourself.

Once you've shaved wherever you needed to, hop out of the shower and pat yourself dry. To reduce if not eliminate any itching or irritation rub some lotion or put baby powder over the area you shaved.

Thanks for reading this tutorial and if it has helped you in any way feel free to drop some feedback, it's always appreciated.

It's an acquired feel, you get used to it. If it still is irritating thought even after a day or two of shaving you might want to get into the routine of putting baby powder or lotion on it everyday.

I don't really shave my pubes anymore, I have an electric razor which I can set to several different lengths and I just trim them.

PS. It's "pubic hair", not "hairs" because hair remains singular in use when talking about it, unless you're literally talking about individual hairs.
