What should I do with my phone? - Megan - 12-09-2015
So I have just had an email to confirm dispatch of my
Samsung Galaxy S5 (16GB)
What are some essential things I should do with it?
Or at least things you suggest I do?
Also please suggest some accessories? I already own a 32GB memory card I'll be putting into it.

Probably obvious stuff, but...
Flash it to Cyanogenmod (rooted) for better privacy/control (also, adblocking), install Signal from OpenWhisperSystems for messaging (and convince your friends on Android and iOS to do the same. Bonus - free international calls/texts to other Signal users as it uses data, not minutes).
Probably also get a nice case for it is important, which protects the screen, and some bluetooth headphones, because wires getting tied up from normal headphones is annoying, and tends to break the headphones eventually.

You might want to try wireless charging or buy a portable charger, which I recommend makes life so much easier if you forgot to charge the previous night or it run out midday.

Thanks, I plan on buying a spare battery, a battery pack and I'll probably use wireless charging too.
The case also looks awesome, i've read online there's a HDMI adapter and a USB thing I can use to add USB functionality to my droid?
