Do you own a tablet? - Jiggly - 11-26-2015 I was curious as to what the fuss is over a tablet? I've previously owned a Phablet (aka phone with massive screen) and wouldn't really see the point of having something that does essentially the same thing, with some better specs but that is more awkward to carry around? What are your opinions on them? Are they worth it if you already have a laptop and smartphone? RE: Do you own a tablet? - mothered - 11-26-2015 For myself, It's either a cell phone or a laptop. If I need to perform some small tasks or simply Google a few things here and there, my cell phone will suffice. For data-Intensive tasks and usage, my lappy comes Into action. On those grounds, I have no use for a Tablet. RE: Do you own a tablet? - Megan - 11-26-2015 Mobile phone, laptop and desktop are the only computers I own, tablets aren't really that useful for me other than netflix which is where my second monitor comes in. I've yet to work out the benefits of having one. I wanted to see if anyone could explain it to me or convince me otherwise xD (11-26-2015, 02:04 PM)Megan Wrote: Mobile phone, laptop and desktop are the only computers I own, tablets aren't really that useful for me other than netflix which is where my second monitor comes in. I really want a desktop but it's really a case of want not need. It's not practical or affordable whilst I'm at Uni. My laptop has more than enough power for my games (which surprised me). Love my little Lenovo xD RE: Do you own a tablet? - Oni - 11-27-2015 (11-26-2015, 01:40 PM)mothered Wrote: For myself, It's either a cell phone or a laptop. Pretty much this. I just don't find them to be very useful. RE: Do you own a tablet? - mothered - 11-27-2015 (11-26-2015, 11:01 PM)Jiggly Wrote: That's exactly how I feel! Some find Tablets of benefit, whilst others simply don't. I had a Tablet, and found It to be an Inconvenience more than anything else. Too big to carry around (In my pocket) for portability and light tasks, and not powerful enough for my usual day-to-day computational duties. There was no equilibrium between my cell phone and laptop. RE: Do you own a tablet? - Infamy - 11-27-2015 I own one, it's an "Acer" module. I pretty much like it; netflix and chill
RE: Do you own a tablet? - Blasé - 12-04-2015 Yeah, I own a Acer Iconia tablet |
