Much better than Skype. More stable. Doesn't hog resources. Doesn't randomly crash. Isn't a part of the Micro$oft botnet. Has cool intergrations. Available on multiple platforms as well as a web interface.

Lol I remember when I used to care about Skype being shit too. At the end of the day it's the most prominently used IM service so we may as well use it. As long as you're not distributing child porn or selling credit cards or some shit, you have nothing to worry about.
We tried this once before with Razer Comms, it just didn't work.
