Looking for OS - TeK9 - 10-19-2015

I'm really starting to like the look and feel of OSX Yosemite. I've been trying to run hackintosh on my school laptop for a while, but I can't seem to get it working properly. It's installed and all but it's really laggy.
I tried ubuntu 15.04 with an osx theme, which looked really nice but it's missing some os x features I like, and it's really wonky when mixed with Unity's sidepanel.

So please recommend me an OS like OS X or just a nice OS to web develop and do networking on.

If you want an OS for development and/or networking, what's keeping you from using any other linux distro?

I want it to look and feel right too, while still being usable on a lower res screen.

My favorite OS is CorePlus. The operating system is around 80 megabytes in disk size, and contains only the necessities you need. It's high performance and open-source.

80 fucking Mb? How is that even possible. Is it like Arch where you have to go through 300 steps before you can actually get it up and running with a GUI?

CorePlus - 80 MB
TinyCore - 30/40 MB
Core - 15 MB

I recommend CorePlus, but if your internet connection is wired, use TinyCore.

80 fucking megabytes.. I'm so confused. I might just have to try this out. Does it use pacman or apt-get?

If you want a linux distro with the look and feel of OSX, you might consider checking out Elementary OS.

Just get Windows 10, it's pretty good.

Heh. No. Windows 10 is utter shit. I have it on my gaming PC and I hate my life.

I personally don't think Elementary looks or feels anything like OSX. It's more like any linux distro with XFCE Sad
