Gomobile? - Pirate - 10-14-2015 Tapatalk isn't working, it keeps saying there is an error with get_config or something Maybe gomobile would be the better option anyway, would help with seo RE: Gomobile? - Oni - 10-14-2015 I've been planning to fix Tapatalk, as a lot of people have used it. I'm updating it currently. I'll see if I can somehow get it to work. With Cloudflare and other configurations, Tapatalk is a little bit of a pain in the ass. Just use gomobile plugin :p RE: Gomobile? - The Real Slim Shady - 10-15-2015 (10-14-2015, 09:31 PM)Pirate Wrote: Just use gomobile plugin :p It's also a lot nicer to use. RE: Gomobile? - Earth - 10-17-2015 The issue with Gomobile is it's pretty much a dead project, it hasn't been updated in years and I have not seen any signs of it coming back to life and this could pose security threats. Tapatalk is updated frequently and it is so widely famous I don't see it ever becoming a dead project. If vulns are found, thats one thing. But if a system works, it works. The mere fact that there are people updating software does not mean that the software doesn't have bugs either. It just means they'll be fixed when they do. With a dead project you fix them yourself. If you got the time to scavenge through it for bugs/vulnerabilities before installing it on a live forum then go for it. Theres no known/public vulns for it. Doesn't take much effort to figure that out. And if you're an admin you should be watching CVE lists for shit you run any ways. If the thing is functioning, bug free, and doesn't have vulns... what exactly are you expecting the dev to do? just add new features? It does what it needs to do. No more no less. Thats whats nice about it. And tapatalk sucks. |
