Character limit - Megan - 10-01-2015
There's a minimum 25 character per post limit, was thinking that anyone who is bronze+ should have it removed? It's handy to prevent spam but sometimes my replies only need to be a couple of words and so I end up having to actually write spam.

are you sure it's not related to post count? I thought there was something like that for under 25 post count but I may be lying.

Nope, it is definitely minimum 25 char. count as mentioned in OP.

Agreed, people end up writing spam just to reply to small things.

look at the happy birthday oni thread, I wanted to just say "Happy Birthday Oni" and that's less than 25chars so I had to pad it out a little...
I wasn't spamming but at the same time there was no need for the extra writing I had to include.

The 25 minimum chars Is In place to help reduce LQ posting.
In terms of spamming, It makes no difference whether the char minimum Is In place or not. Spam can Include one word or a thousand words. Don't get me wrong, I understand your point, but I believe the 25 chars Is Imperative. I've hardly (perhaps If ever) had the need to add extra chars to fulfill the minimum requirements.
