Nameable

tags - Inori - 09-03-2015 I find it kind of annoying that you can't do

the way you can with spoilers, forcing you to add a title line before every piece of code in your thread and messing up the format. I think it'd be really cool if we could have something like this:
RE: Nameable

tags - lux - 09-03-2015 We could go even a step further than this, add in Syntax highlighting. I don't think @Oni could be asked implementing that. OP's suggestion should be a simple addition though.

There is a 1.6 plugin for syntax highlighting, and with slight changes to the config file can work with 1.8 (supposedly). I'm not sure what version we are on though. RE: Nameable

tags - Inori - 09-03-2015 How about it, @Onion? Does this seem like a possible addition? RE: Nameable

tags - DarkKnight - 09-03-2015 This is only useful to those who post tutorials. E.g. most of Syntax RE: Nameable

tags - Inori - 09-03-2015 (09-03-2015, 06:36 PM)DarkKnight Wrote: This is only useful to those who mostly post tutorials. E.g. Syntax Or people that write big Java/C-family projects that require multiple files/custom headers. Or even people that have some kind of syntax for program execution. There's more people that will use it than just Syntax members. Syntax highlighting can be done via stylesheets, no need for a plugin RE: Nameable

tags - Rock - 09-03-2015 Ditto, agree with OP and other posters. This with some code syntaxing would be pretty neat to have. Seen it on other mybb forums. Every other forum I've registered with, allows to do just that- the
tags just as the spoilers are used. I'm surprised It Isn't the case here. I'm all for your suggestions. |
