Steam Skins - Master - 07-13-2015

A lot of time is spent staring at Steam's familiar grey interface, and it's time for a change. Fortunately you can reskin your Steam client with user-made varieties, which change the look, feel and functionality of Steam's familiar old tabs. After 3 year using Steam, today was the day I changed from the default skin.

How to install a steam skin
  • Download the skin files.
  • Extract and drop them into your Steam skins folder in your Steam directory. C: -> Program Files -> Steam -> Skins.
  • Head to the Interface section of your Steam Settings.
  • Pick the skin you want from the "select the skin you wish Steam to use" drop down menu.
  • Restart Steam.
  • Caress your beautifully reskinned Steam client with your mouse cursor while muttering "precioussss" to no-one in particular.

My favorite skin is called Metro
