Toothache - mothered - 07-13-2015
Greetings to all,
So I had a ripsnorting toothache, whereby It came to the stage of opting for an extraction. The dentist said I should wait a while and If It gets worse, he'd pull It out thereafter.
Worse I asked? The pain was that bad, It brought tears to my eyes, my mouth was swollen and could hardly focus.
Apart from a hole (without the tooth), It's a welcomed relief.
Who's had a toothache? What was your experience?

I've had toothaches but never any that bad. The extent of mine is probably a dull ache that lasts a few days.

Had wisdom teeth out. They didn't give me any decent painkillers. Sort of sucked.

My sister went through similar things, and she just had it removed after it aching for like 2 weeks later.
Go there, and be stern. "Hey, my tooth is aching like a snowball on fire and if you won't pull it, I'll find someone who will."
He won't just let that moolah slip from his plaque-covered finger tips. Hope I helped.

Well I am struggling with wisdom teeth, the left bottom hurts but not enough to throw me off track or anything.
I was supposed to get them out last month but there was a family crisis which resulted in me missing the appointment.

I empathize your sister's experience, It's one of the worse type of pain and simply cannot be tolerated.
Absolutely so with finding another dentist. One reason they don't pull It out right away, Is because It's all about business. They want you to attend again (another visit=more money), or try and fool you Into a root canal which costs In the thousands.
