RE: Finally started building my main rig. - zorrophreak - 06-20-2015 Not a bad rig Losi, not bad at all. My only recommendation is that you...wait, you did use Windows 7...nevermind, just a great rig. RE: Finally started building my main rig. - mothered - 06-24-2015 Nice rig and the specs are quite Impressive. It's great to read you've opted for the smart decision to have the SSD as the OS drive. Expect awesome Boot times. In addition to that, If your MOBO supports the UEFI Firmware with GOP (Graphics Output Protocol) and the VC also supports GOP, "Ultra Fast Boot" can be enabled In the Firmware Itself, thereby give you superior Boot operations. You will however, also require a supported OS, namely Windows 8/8.1 and the correct architecture being 64 Bit. Once It's all up and running, I'd be very Interested on some benchmark results. I'll look in my mobo's manual to check the Ultra Fast Boot. I might buy a license for Valley Engine to get some benchmarks. RE: Finally started building my main rig. - JzJad - 07-28-2015 Cant wait to see it finished, always happy to see some one taking on the fun of building their own system. RE: Finally started building my main rig. - Customer - 07-28-2015 Wow, awesome build. Did you color the case or did it come like that? Get a Define r5 or something like that. RE: Finally started building my main rig. - Jiggly - 07-29-2015 I want to build one now... Not that I know how. Closest I've been to anything involving the inside of a computer was me disassembling two ancient Dells. |
